AeroShell Grease 22 is a is versatile multipurpose water resistant grease widely recognized for its outstanding anti-wear properties, excellent load carrying capacity and oxidation stability since it is synthetic oil based and contains Microgel non-melting inorganic thickener. AeroShell Grease 22 is specially designed for aircraft wheel bearings, engine accessories and airframe lubrication, and for general anti-friction bearings operating at high speeds and at high or low temperatures due to its useful temperature range of -85° F (-65° C) to +400° F (+204° C).
AeroShell Grease 22 contains a synthetic hydrocarbon oil and should not be used in contact with incompatible seal materials. Refer to the General Notes at the front of this section for further information.

AeroShell Grease 22 is a versatile advanced general purpose grease composed of a synthetic hydrocarbon oil thickened with Microgel®, with outstanding performance characteristics. Appropriate additives are included to achieve the necessary oxidation and corrosion resistance, anti-wear properties and load carrying properties. The useful operating temperature range is –65°C to +204°C.
